Keynote speaker
On different conferences and events I've been giving thought-provoking talks about web development, agile processes, and the future of media production. In recent years I did a talk with beyond tellerrand (Stay Curious) about content-first and for my employer schalk&friends about the implications of AI for marketing.
Seminars
I've given seminars and trainings to technical and non-technical audiences about “all things web”, starting from processes and strategies, to the design workflow, digital typography and technical topics like choosing a CMS or living styleguides. My main partner is the Munich Typographic Society (tgm).
Book author
Together with two co-authors I wrote “Agile Publishing” (2013, 400 pages, German only). The book is about how media production and publishing have to transform in times of digitalization. We have been among the first that described Scrum in the context of media production, discussing the mindset and organizational changes required.
Instead of providing you with a percentage matrix of my skill set, I compiled a list of tools, technologies and methodologies I’ve worked with over the years. Some of them need a refresher, others I'm fully up-to-date. Some are more consulting-focused, in others I have knee-deep implementation experience. I hope this gives a good impression about my broadness, my curiosity and my ability to constantly learn and adapt.
